Our Media team are responsible for developing, implementation and measurement of media strategies across our clients. We don't exist as a siloed department but as a part of the wider planning team, as we recognise the value media thinking can bring to briefs across the agency, not just media briefs, through creatively applying the best of marketing science.
The Role
Based in our Sydney office, our Media Manager will play a critical role in shaping data-driven marketing strategies, audience insights, and campaign planning across multiple channels. You will focus on market research, audience segmentation, and brand positioning to develop impactful, multi-channel marketing strategies that drive business growth.
This role is an exciting opportunity to work across multi-channel campaigns, including digital, display, social, performance marketing, search, and traditional media, while providing strategic recommendations that shape brand success.

A Day in the Life
- Develop and implement customer-centric marketing strategies, using data-driven insights to inform audience targeting and segmentation.
- Support the Media Director in responding to client briefs, conducting market research, and identifying marketing opportunities.
- Provide strategic recommendations on brand positioning, market trends, and audience insights to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams-including Data, Technology, Creative, Strategy, and Business Management-to develop integrated marketing solutions.
- Use analytical skills to assess campaign effectiveness and transform media performance data into strategic insights that guide future planning.
- Work closely with clients to educate them on marketing strategy and audience behaviour, ensuring their campaigns align with business objectives.
How will we know you are the one?
- You have experience in multi-channel marketing strategy, audience segmentation, and brand positioning.
- You can translate consumer insights and data analysis into actionable marketing strategies.
- You understand how to craft insight-driven campaign plans that align with market trends and consumer behaviour.
- You have strong knowledge of performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with broader business objectives.
- You can present insights and recommendations effectively to clients, internal stakeholders, and creative teams.
- You are passionate about understanding audiences and leveraging research to develop compelling brand strategies.
Other things that would make you excel in this role
- Experience in conducting market research, developing audience insights, and applying data analytics to marketing plans.
- A strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including digital, social, search, and traditional media.
- Ability to intelligently apply data insights to campaign reporting.
- Attention to detail that is second to none.
- Strong Microsoft suite skills, particularly with Excel.
- Team player, but can also work autonomously.
- Ability to think critically and translate data into meaningful marketing strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, particularly in presenting findings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
