Insolvency Professional Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Insolvency professional to join our team as an Intermediate or Senior. The ideal candidate will have experience working in insolvency and a strong understanding of accounting and professional standards.

The role involves managing and completing assignments for review, assisting managers and partners with special assignments, and identifying engagement risks. A high standard of skills and knowledge is required for conducting financial investigations and preparing reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and completing assignments for manager and partner review
  • Assisting managers and partners with special assignments and other corporate work
  • Identifying engagement risks and determining the appropriate strategy for each assignment
  • Demonstrating a high standard of skills and knowledge in accounting and professional standards

Understanding of Insolvency and Legislation

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of insolvency and various legislations, including:

  • Realising businesses/assets
  • Dealing with correspondence and creditor enquiries
  • Creditor report preparation
  • Meeting with directors, bankrupts, creditors etc.
  • Conducting staff training; and
  • Research & preparation of papers and newsletters relating to insolvency matters

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in insolvency
  • A strong understanding of accounting and professional standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A high level of analytical and problem-solving ability
