Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO)

Location and Roster

FIFO from Perth, DIDO from surrounding areas, or Residential.

Lakewood is 6km from Kalgoorlie, with our mining operations located within a 40km radius of the centralised processing facility.

Roster: 8/6, day shift only.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the HSE Manager, the MESO is responsible for coordinating all aspects of site emergency response and medical preparedness, including responding to medical emergencies, effective emergency care, equipment readiness, regulatory compliance, and training of the Emergency Response Team to support safe operations.

The position will also support safety and environment activities as needed, providing valuable hands-on experience in these areas

About You

Your success will come from your ability to think on your feet, be adaptative and flexible and your interactions with others on site - your

You will need to have the below:

Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue.

Certificate IV in Healthcare or above.

Experience in a similar environment (mine site).

BG4 Closed Circuit Breathing Apparatus (UG Search and Rescue) (preferred).

Mental health First Aid Qualification.

HLTPAT005 Authorised Specimens for Drugs of Abuse collection training.

High level of literacy across Microsoft Office Packages.
