Interior Designer

Zane Carter Architects' is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in our Woollahra, NSW office. This full-time role will involve working closely with our lead architect and clients to create exceptional interior design solutions that complement our architectural projects.

You'll work in close collaboration with our lead architect, blending architectural vision with interior design innovation to create truly holistic, world-class spaces. What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with architects and clients to understand project requirements and develop innovative interior design concepts
• Preparing detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualisations
• Selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the overall design vision
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior elements
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring design solutions are delivered to the highest standard
• Providing on-site support and addressing any design-related issues that arise during construction

What we're looking for

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
• Strong technical skills in ArchiCAD
• Excellent understanding of interior design principles, trends, and materials
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into cohesive interior design concepts
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and the project team
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A collaborative designer who thrives on teamwork and is driven to push the boundaries of design, blending creativity with innovation to deliver exceptional, forward-thinking spaces.
