About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our Finance & Procurement functions at a senior level. This pivotal role will see you driving financial strategy, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting, and providing key insights that shape business performance and growth.

You'll work closely with the Executive Team and play a hands-on role in elevating our finance function to support our continued success.

Lead, manage and develop the Finance & Accounts team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence

Manage all core accounting functions—procurement, AP/AR, tax, general ledger, and compliance

Deliver timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial statements

Provide strategic financial advice to Executive Management

Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management

Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, accounting standards, and internal policies

Liaise with auditors, external consultants, and financial institutions

Identify and implement process improvements across financial systems and workflows

Contribute to strategic decision-making to support business profitability and long-term growth

Develop close relations with key financial institutions, external accountants, related government bodies.

Keep up-to-date with financial policies, practices, and regulations and advise management on required actions.

Proactively analyse current systems and processes to identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Strong technical knowledge of modern financial and accounting principles

Proven leadership capability and team management skills

High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Proficiency with financial software, MS Office Suite, and large data handling

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

ERP system improvement and migration

Financial and accounting data processing and visual presentation

Corporate financial and accounting policy and procedures in mining service sector

Experience:

5+ years in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Financial Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Finance)

Experience within high-revenue organisations ($100M+ turnover) preferred

Prior exposure to the mining, construction, or industrial services sector highly regarded
