Job Description At Egis / Engeny, we present an outstanding full-time two-year graduate program designed to cultivate a varied set of knowledge and skills. Our graduates will have the opportunity to gain exposure to diverse sectors and work environments, laying the foundation for a successful and enduring career. Our program is dedicated to nurturing the early stages of your engineering journey, guiding you towards achieving your goals.

We are seeking talented, motivated, and innovative Graduates to join our dynamic and high-performing Water Resources team in Newcastle for 2026

Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing water quality and water management systems projects, preparing tenders, pre-qualifications, panel submissions.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
  • Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our engineering solutions are cutting-edge.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems to improve processes and product quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate of a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia.
  • Previous student vacation/internship experience ideally in a consulting environment highly desired.
  • Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality or customer service industries highly desired.
  • Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Are innovative thinkers and problem-solvers.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent rapport building skills and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
