Regional & Agribusiness Graduate Program - Jan 2026

Overview

Applications are open for the January 2026 Regional & Agribusiness Graduate Program. NAB is seeking graduates who are committed to regional Australia, with a focus on agribusiness banking, to build a pipeline of future-ready bankers to support regional customers where they need it most.

In this Graduate role you will
  • Undertake a 4-month rotational program designed to provide a foothold in a career in Regional and Agribusiness Banking at NAB
  • Learn and develop critical skills for a future in banking
  • Connect with past Alumni Grads and participate in mentoring relationships
  • Work closely with high-performing agribusiness and business bankers in regional and rural Australia
  • Engage in industry learning and ongoing skill development
  • Network with fellow R&A graduates and NAB employees
  • Gain exposure supporting customers and communities
  • Explore opportunities to create a positive social impact via community and customer engagement programs
  • Be supported and placed into a permanent role during or after successful completion of the program
What you'll bring
  • Proven customer service skills and a passion for Regional Business & Agribusiness
  • Effective relationship management skills
  • Prior working experience in a service environment would be advantageous
Program details

The 4-month Graduate Program will commence 19 January 2026. The program offers a diverse and inclusive workplace designed to support everyone to work their way. NAB is committed to equity and respect and provides an environment with Employee Resource Groups to foster inclusion.

Eligibility
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying
  • Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or be due to complete it by the commencement of the program
  • Be willing to relocate to a regional location for either the 4-month program or the first permanent role outside of the program
  • Commit and be available to commence full-time employment in January 2026
