About the role

  • Provide technical leadership on critical projects and investigations into asset and network failures.
  • Align engineering activities with corporate goals and promote cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure technical compliance and influence engineering standards, specifications, and spares policies.

  • Contribute to condition and risk assessments, technical standards, and asset management strategies.
What You'll Bring
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering; Engineering Registration required; Chartered status preferred.
  • Experience: Deep expertise in electrical or structural engineering applied to electricity networks, including design, testing, risk assessment, and asset management.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Australian and international technical standards, regulatory requirements, and maintenance strategies.
Skills
  • Ability to lead technical investigations and develop corrective actions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP EAM; experience with modelling software is a plus.
