The Role

Chris O'Brien Lifehouse ICU is seeking Registrars with a career interest in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care to join our team. The roles available are on a flexible roster pattern and offer a balance in lifestyle.

The successful applicants will also benefit from the training opportunities on the campus for both Anaesthetics and Intensive Care and work directly with the Intensivists managing the ICU and leading the CERS team.

  • Full Time, 12-month position - Commencing as soon as possible
  • CICM advanced training in intensive care (4 months affiliate accreditation)
  • Exposure to a varied surgical case mix, including complex head and neck
  • 8 weeks of supernumerary experience in anaesthetics
  • AHPRA registration without limitations
  • Minimum PGY4 as of beginning 2025
  • Recent ICU experience
  • Enthusiasm to participate in the clinical and academic activities of the Department
  • Advanced life support training
