About the RoleAs the Retail Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our store at Warringah Mall. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a passion for customer service, sales excellence, and team development. You will be responsible for driving profitability, achieving sales targets, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This is a full-time position with a set roster of Tuesday – Saturday.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of retail staff.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and high morale.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales through effective floor management, merchandising, and promotional strategies. Monitor sales performance and implement action plans to achieve targets. Ensure excellent customer service standards at all times.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures. Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management. Implement store policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance. Monitor and control store expenses and budgets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation: Ensure the store layout and product displays are visually appealing and meet brand standards. Regularly review merchandising guidelines and update displays to optimise sales.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- 3–5 years of retail management experience, ideally in fashion (womenswear or apparel).
- Demonstrated experience in driving sales performance and achieving KPIs.
- Experience managing store operations including rosters, stock control, opening and closing procedures.
- Experience in clienteling and building repeat customer relationships.
- Experience leading, training and developing retail teams.
- Strong knowledge of womenswear fashion trends, styling, and product knowledge.
- Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand identity.
- Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong grasp of retail KPIs (conversion rate, ATV, UPT, etc.).
- Proficiency with POS systems, stock management, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising standards (window displays, styling, product presentation).
- Ability to adapt layouts and styling to maximise sales and reflect seasonal campaigns.
