Key Responsibilities

Test Engineer will design, create and execute test cases for specific requirements. Liaising with developers and business analysts to gather deep technical analysis and functional and business requirements for testing. Test Engineer will also analyse the test results and defect management. Proactive approach in prioritizing the task and collaborating with other team members effectively. Works seamlessly under limited direction.

Mandatory Requirement

  1. Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
  2. Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
  3. 5+ years of experience in manual testing using various tools including ALM, JIRA and API testing tools Postman and Bruno.

Strong technical acumen for testing activities such as identifying scenarios, developing and running the script, analysing results and summarising reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills to disseminate information to the stakeholders.

Desired Attributes and Skills

  1. Expertise in using various testing and management tools e.g ALM, JIRA, SAP Focussed Build.
  2. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python.
  3. Wide experience in working with the Agile Framework model.
  4. Degree in IT / Software Engineering.
  5. Experience working in government or public sector environments.
