The team

The Insurance & Health group is led by respected partners and acts for many of the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and internationally. The team advises across all major classes of insurance, with particular strength in liability, professional indemnity, and health-related claims.

The role

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join the Sydney Insurance team. You will work on a broad mix of matters including:

  • Public liability and personal injury claims
  • Property damage disputes
  • Historical abuse claims and other general insurance work

This role offers exposure to a wide range of clients, engaging and challenging matters, and the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous defendant insurance and litigation experience (ideally in liability matters)
  • Strong technical and drafting skills, with a client service focus
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and resilience
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach
