About the role

Mater Private Hospital Mackay are currently looking for aHospitality Services Assistantin a casual capacity.

Early morning, afternoon, and night shifts are available across a 7-day week and the successful candidate must be flexible with shift times.

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services todelegated areas of the Hospital and prepare, assemble, and deliverpatient meals.

Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been providing the highest level of care to the people of Mackay and surrounds since 1927. Our current hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

About you

For this position we offer to opportunity to expand your skillset by gaining experience in our kitchen and hospitality team and gain experience in food services, room service and cleaning areas where suitable.

We are ideally looking for candidates that have:

• Previous experiencein ahospital or hotel cleaning/good servicesrole
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge of current food hygiene principles, practices, andlegislation
• Ability to recognise and prioritise tasks effectively
• Ability to engage with a variety of people.
