Job description

Looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal secretarial or administrative support role, preferably within the Care and Protection or Family Law jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with Legal Aid NSW processes, including the management of grants and associated documentation, is highly regarded.
  • Strong working knowledge of court procedures, file management, and legal correspondence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and practice management software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and empathetic approach to client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commencing 6 October 2025

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Legal Secretary : 2 years (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Full time resident (Preferred)

Work Location:

  • Hybrid - Remote in Balmain East NSW 2041 and work from home.
