We have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our progressive and expanding Workers Compensation team and help support our team to continue to grow.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and managing legal correspondence, court documents, and briefs
  • Diary management and scheduling appointments
  • File management – opening, maintaining, and archiving legal files
  • Liaising with clients, medical providers, and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with preparation for court hearings and mediations
  • General administrative duties, including billing and timesheet support
    
    
  About You
  • Atleast 3+ years' experience as a Paralegal/ Legal Secretary, preferably within Workers Compensation/ Personal Injury (not essential)
  • Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to get things done;
  • A professional and empathetic manner when dealing with clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems (ActionStep experience is a plus)
  • 'Can do' collaborative approach with proven communication skills;
