Job Description

About the Role

The Administration Officer – JNC Employee Support is responsible for the efficient coordination of rostering, payroll processing, and serving as the primary point of contact for employee-related queries.

Duties

  • Develop and manage staff roster and c onduct regular rostering audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Adjust rosters in response to staff availability, emergencies, and resident needs.
  • Monitor shift coverage and fill vacant shifts in a timely manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for staff regarding payroll, rosters, and employment conditions.
  • Assist employees with leave requests and shift swaps.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation.

Desired Skills And Experience

COVID - 19 Requirements
  • Immunization history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.

Required
  • Cert III in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in aged care, healthcare, or community services administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in rostering and payroll processing within an aged care or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of rostering principles, enterprise agreements, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in using rostering and payroll systems (e.g Humanforce).
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support employees.

Preferred
  • Knowledge of Fair Work regulations and aged care workforce planning requirements.
  • Experience in handling employee queries related to payroll, leave entitlements, and shift allocations.
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Additional Requirements
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia.
  • NDIS worker clearance (yellow card) or eligible to apply.
  • Annual flu shot (2025).
