Field Service Supervisor

Cavpower is the Caterpillar dealerfor South Australia and Western NSW. We have a great opportunity for aservice driven individual to supervise the work of a team of fieldservice technicians and ensure the product support provided to ourcustomers represents outstanding value.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Attend to customer enquiries, phone calls and walkins;
  • Determine scope of work and provide customer with anup-front estimate;
  • Establish time line for required service / repairs;
  • Keep the customer informed of the costs, status and anychanges to the work;
  • Allocate tasks to technicians to maximise labourresources;
  • Ensure team members have clear direction on all dailyactivities;
  • Manage workorders and timesheets;
  • Assist with the ordering of parts and tools for eachjob;
  • Monitor compliance to SHEQ requirements;
  • Monitor warranty work to ensure repairs are carried out toCaterpillar guidelines;
  • Provide technical assistance and diagnostic expertise asrequired to ensure jobs are finished in a timely manner.

Skills and experience:

  • Leadership qualification or experience leading a smallteam;
  • Effective communication skills both written andverbal;
  • Sound influencing and negotiating skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong clientrelationships;
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail;
  • Current driver's licence;
  • Familiaritywith CAT and dealer systems anadvantage.
