For a client of expertech we are URGENTLY recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to work on an Enterprise Level CMS project. In this Hybrid role you will join the Project in the build phase, will work with a large team and a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver the CMS project. We are looking for excellent communicators who have worked on CMS projects before and ideally have come from a consultancy background.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the seamless delivery of projects by maintaining visibility over day-to-day activities and progress on milestones, clear project scoping, tracking, and documentation.
  • Be the point of contact for the client and consultancy team, advocating for both where necessary.
  • Liaise with both management and the client, keeping them informed of project delivery and budgetary status.
  • Maintaining and improving processes to ensure the business works as effectively as possible.
  • Oversee and lead the development team in the production process, taking responsibility for work being produced to an excellent standard and on time.
  • Gather and produce requirements, identifying and assessing solutions.
  • Tracking of your project tasks and progress, including managing Jira sprints, boards, and tickets, and ensuring there is accurate time tracking being upheld in Jira.
  • Producing clear documentation of your projects and ensuring all relevant project documentation is stored in Confluence, including but not limited to:
    • Project overview
    • Meeting notes
    • File lists with client assets and contract documentation
    • Product requirements
    • Risk register
    • Diagrams and journey maps
    • Developer documentation and deployment instructions
  • Problem solving throughout the delivery process, flagging potential issues early when additional assistance is required, and work issues through to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day finances of projects and be able to keep the client and management informed of their account status. Identify when projects are at risk of going over budget by monitoring time estimates against actuals and reporting this so that it can be resolved early.
  • Work closely with the finance team to assist with raising invoices and monitor employee timesheets so that we know we are tracking time correctly and billing accurately.
  • Assist Delivery Manager and Chief Operating Officer in maintaining the developer schedule to ensure adequate resourcing for all projects and be able to prioritise projects with milestones and deadlines.
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings with internal and client stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years' Project Management experience in a digital production context, with a focus on platform and technical delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in working in Agile and Scrum teams.
  • Experience working with CMS systems at Enterprise level; Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico, Optimizely (preferred)
