Assistant Director Financial - Operations

$125,000 - $130,000 - ongoing and non-ongoing

  • Ongoing and non-ongoing positions available
  • Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
  • Canberra CBD + some WFH

Our client, a Federally funded entity focused on helping the Veteran community is seeking an EL1 Assistant Director Financial - Operations to join their team.

DUTIES:

  • Oversee the Financial Operations activities.
  • Lead, supervise and develop a small team.
  • Provide expertise and technical knowledge in Accounting.
  • Undertake research interpret and apply legislative requirements including Commonwealth financial compliance and legislative frameworks to resolve moderately complex issues.

CRITERIA:

  • 5 years+ demonstrated Financial Operations experience.
  • 3 years+ proven experience in team leadership.
  • A diploma or degree qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance.
  • Experience in problem-solving and analytical skills to review, analyse, and recommend solutions.
