Forward Ability Support is a not-for-profit organisation with 60 years history of providing key services to people with spinal cord injuries or similar related health conditions. We are driven to make a brighter and more positive future for our community by supporting people with spinal cord injuries to live their best life. As an organisation we are looking for people who take pride in their work and are committed to excellence.
BrightSky Australia is the social enterprise of Forward Ability Support and services the ageing and disability sector with medical consumables and equipment across Australia to the home, businesses and government. All profits go towards supporting Forward's community programs.
About The Role
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Join our Customer Support Team as a Call Centre Agent and make a meaningful impact In this highly fulfilling role, you will:- Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Offer empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions
- Utilise First Call Resolution to ensure our customers receive outstanding service
To help you get started, you'll initially work 8:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri for a 1-month training period at our Newington office. Once you're up to speed, you'll transition to our 4 day work week with the opportunity to WFH 2 days a week.
About You
We are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for customer service and a love for helping people. If you're resilient, have a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Reliability and a strong work ethic are key.
Experience with disability and related health products is a plus, but if you're keen to learn, that's great too
What We're Looking For
We are ready to support the right candidate to excel in this role. Ideally, you should have:
- Genuine and exceptional customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
- A collaborative mindset
- Confidence in working across multiple screens and systems
- Previous experience in a contact centre or the health space is highly desirable
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and pre-employment health questionnaire

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Zendesk, and SAP
