About the roleSydney is a vibrant, dynamic, and accessible city with a diverse population, world-famous tourist attractions, and an exciting calendar of events. Every day, our Cleansing Operations team works hard to keep the City's roads, footpaths, and laneways clean.
We are seeking a self-motivated, dedicated person with great communication, qualifications, and training skills to meet the following essential criteria:
Must have proven skills in the development and implementation of training and education programs and deliver training via a competency-basedAssessment process relating to the tasks associated with the operation of large and small plant. A background in Cleansing and Waste Operations would be preferable.Significant experience in the coordination and evaluation of plant operations training processesAbility to communicate and deliver training to a diverse workforce using media and other presentation formatsAn ability to work flexible working hours on day, afternoon, and night shifts at various locationsMust hold a Certificate IV or equivalent in training and assessment qualificationsMust hold a HR licenseOperating certificates for Backhoe/Excavator and Forklift are highly desirable.Download position description
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
