The Opportunity

The People & Culture Generalist (PCG) will build relationships with leaders across the business to guide, coach, partner and support the execution of strategic people initiatives across the employee life cycle. In addition to day-to-day support, this role will own value-add operational and strategic projects from Day 1. This is a 6-month fixed-term role with flexible location across Melbourne and hybrid options (3 days in office, 2 days at home).

Responsibilities

No two days are the same in our multi-site, growing business. Your key deliverables include:

  • Partnering with leaders to optimise people engagement and performance
  • P&C compliance – supporting the business to ensure compliance with relevant modern awards, NES, and other regulatory requirements
  • End-to-end ER/IR case management
  • Talent bench strength – identifying key talent, succession planning, and ensuring the business is future-fit
  • Implementation of cyclical performance reviews (probation, performance, mid-year)
  • Support and execution of PC projects
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a P&C Generalist
  • Sound understanding of P&C compliance, relevant legislation, and contemporary people practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end and translate ideas into action
