SierraTek Global Pty Ltd are hiring. We are currently filling roles for Control Systems Engineer to join our Newcastle team.

The role of Control Systems Engineer will involve hands-on site work and project work supporting our valued customers and internal teams. This work includes installation of new equipment, maintenance, servicing, modifications to existing systems, design, and project work across our operational areas. This exciting and technically driven role will offer the opportunity to further develop your skills working with various field devices, industrial control systems, Automation Systems, PLC's, Telemetry and SCADA systems.

Ideally the successful applicant will have good communication and teamwork skills, be able to demonstrate initiative, leadership, self-motivation, customer first approach, and a strong commitment to W.H. & S.

Applicants should include in their applications any information on their experience, knowledge or qualifications regarding:

  • Electrical License and/or Engineering Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial sites
  • PLC/SCADA systems
  • Telemetry Systems
  • IT Experience
  • Desire to, and aptitude for professional and technical development
  • W.H.& S. and safety systems
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and materials handling skills & interest.

A current driver's license is essential.
