We are seeking to appoint an experienced full-time Patient Services Officer to support the pre-admission and admission process for oncology patients. This is a patient-facing role.

Responsibilities
  • Admitting and discharging patients
  • Responding promptly to enquiries and requests
  • General administrative duties and entering patient details to create admissions
  • Creating estimates and completing health fund checks
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritise in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions according to hospital needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in health care, medical or health fund industry will be highly advantageous
