About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team and serve the vibrant and rapidly growing Townsville region, focusing primarily on aged care facilities. Townsville, with its rich culture, stunning landscapes, and relaxed lifestyle, offers the perfect environment for both professional growth and work-life balance. What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay: Earn $2,000 per day (for an 8-hour workday).
  • Collaborative Support: Work alongside a dedicated team of nurses, telehealth geriatricians, physicians, and strong administrative support.
  • Patient Volume: See approximately 25 patients per day, allowing you to focus on providing quality care.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time role, working 3 days per week, 8 hours per day, with the potential for additional hours as the region continues to expand.
  • Regional Exploration: Take advantage of opportunities to travel around Townsville and explore new areas in this diverse region.
  • Professional Development: This position is ideal for GPs with a particular interest in aged care, offering excellent opportunities for career growth within our expanding organization.

What We're Looking For:

  • AHPRA Registration: General or Specialist registration (no conditions). Please note, overseas applicants without RACGP Fellowship need not apply.
  • Availability: Able to work 3 days per week, with the possibility of increased hours as the region expands.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in system-based reporting and familiarity with various software packages is a plus.

Requirements:

  • A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this position.

Non-Vocationally Registered GPs: If you're nearing completion of your RACGP or FACRRM Fellowship, we'd love to hear from you. Daily Rate: $1,700 to $1,800 per day.
