Are you an experienced mechanical tradesperson with a strong safety mindset, looking for a role where no two days are the same? Allied Pumps is seeking a Service Technician to join our Kalgoorlie team, supporting commissioning, servicing, and installation of specialised pumping systems across the Goldfields region.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager – Kalgoorlie, you will:

  • Carry out end-to-end pump diagnostics and repairs—strip, assess, rebuild, align and test—to return equipment to safe, reliable service with minimal downtime.
  • Conduct on-site pump audits, capturing performance data (flow/pressure/condition), identifying risks and inefficiencies, and providing clear recommendations to improve reliability and lifecycle cost.
  • Deliver scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on Allied Pumps (AP) equipment at customer sites—plus third-party pumps when required—completing accurate service reports and parts requests.
  • Assist with project installations and commissioning, including pre-start checks, functional testing, customer handover/training and documentation, working safely with internal teams and licensed trades.
  • Uphold Allied Pumps' safety and compliance standards on every job.
  • Participate in after-hours and overtime work as required.

What We're Looking For
  • OHSC/Blue Card
  • Experience in HSE compliance and working safely in manufacturing or construction environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Computer literacy with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with pumps (highly desirable)
