Are you an experienced Mechanical Service Technician looking for a new challenge in the power generation industry? Do you enjoy working in the field, solving complex problems, and delivering outstanding service to customers? Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our team on a full-time, site-based role, working a 7/7 Roster or an 8/6 Roster.

This role is preferable to be based in Kalgoorlie on a (DIDO) roster. It offers the perfect blend of work-life balance and career development in a supportive and professional environment. Accommodation is provided on-site, ensuring a comfortable and safe stay while on shift.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of diesel-powered generators and associated equipment at a key customer site. This is a hands-on role suited to a self-starter who thrives in autonomous environments and has a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel generators and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in engines, cooling systems, and fuel systems
• Complete inspections, testing, and commissioning as required
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Liaise with customers and EPSA teams to deliver a high level of service and support
• Participate in continuous improvement and site safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Previous experience working with power generation equipment or heavy diesel engines
• Strong mechanical diagnostics and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote environments
• Valid driver's licence (HR licence preferable)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site induction requirements
