What you'll do
  • Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships.
  • Work within a trauma-informed framework that supports young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours.

What you'll need
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Valid Australian full driver's licence for the state you have applied for
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications
Skills and experience
  • Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
  • Passion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
