In this role, you'll:

  • Join a small finance team within Transports Asset Management division working across an interesting diverse portfolio within Rail Assets within Rail Assets to develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support revenue forecasting, long-term financial planning, and investment decisions.
  • Provide financial and pricing insights to guide enterprise strategies, business plans, and investment proposals. Working with stakeholders to design and implement integrated pricing strategies that balance cost recovery, market conditions, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability.
  • You will support asset modelling and lifecycle analysis to inform investment decisions and maximise asset value. Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and support continuous improvement of pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Translate complex financial modelling outputs into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and executive decision-making. Ensure integrity, documentation, and governance of financial models, adhering to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

About You
  • You have significant expertise in finance minimum of 10 years including ERP finance, financial modelling, and strategy development in asset-intensive industries such as infrastructure or government.
  • You have strong asset strategy experience and a deep understanding of cost recovery, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks and hold a tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or business.
  • You are analytical and detail-oriented, able to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Highly experienced with programs such as Excel, SAP and Power BI.
  • You are adaptable, able to manage change and evolving market or operational conditions while maintaining focus on long-term business goals. You thrive working in a team environment, you are flexible and agile and enjoy your skills and helping the team across other areas of finance
