In this role, you will be responsible for preparation and delivery of high quality nutritious meals to residents whilst ensuring a high standard of food safety is maintained, supervising a dedicated team of staff. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Preparation, presentation and serving of high quality food to residents in accordance with food safety legislation
• Leading and managing a team of qualified food services assistants
• Ensuring compliance with the food safety plan at all times
• Ensuring the kitchen area and equipment is cleaned and maintained to an appropriate standard
• Developing and maintaining key relationships with residents, staff and facility management
• Assuming the role of Food Safety Supervisor at the site

• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial kitchen environment (aged care preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and coach a team
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of diverse and modified dietary requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for food and the preparation of appetising and nutritious meals for our residents
