Lauriston Girls' School Blairholme ELC - Extended Hours Care and Kindergarten is situated in the leafy streets of Armadale.

We are currently inviting applications from experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Co-Educators with a Diploma or Certificate III qualification to join our dedicated team for Semester 1, 2026.

About the role

  • Part-time (0.632FTE), fixed term parental leave replacement position
  • January - July 2026
  • Warm, inclusive learning environment

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Support Team Leaders and other educators to implement and evaluate play-based learning experiences in partnership with families and in accordance with the EYLF and NQF.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of educators to implement a program that places importance on care and education.
  • Demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

To be successful you will require a relevant qualification and experience working in Long Day Care, with a sound working knowledge of the NQF and EYLF. An understanding of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy will be an advantage, along with:

  • Diploma or Certificate III Qualified
  • Current WWCC (Employee)
  • Current Police Check (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and AsthmaCertificates
