Job Description

Mehraj Painting and Decorating Pty Ltd is providing quality painting services that protect and decorate your environment. Besides exceptional painting services, we provide advice on colours, paint types (matte, gloss, non-allergic) and applications for residential, commercial and industrial spaces. We provide our services in regional Victoria such as Ballarat, Geelong, Baccus Marsh as well as Melbourne metropolitan area.

As we continue to grow, we're currently seeking multiple Painters with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team. If you're motivated, professional, and take pride in your craft, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Role Includes:

• Surface preparation: patching, sanding, gap sealing, priming
• Applying undercoats and topcoats (brush, roller, and occasional spray)
• Working with various finishes: low-sheen, gloss, and specialty paints
• Applying wallpapers, setting out the area according to the pattern match, cutting paper to the appropriate length, application of paste and hanging
• Applying decorative paint finishes such as stencils, colour glaze, graining, marbling and lettering.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following project timelines and standards
• Coordinating with team members and supervisors

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial painting
• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
• Strong prep and finishing skills
• Reliable transport to job sites
• Ability to work full-time (38 hours/week)
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 plus superannuation per year
