Are you an experienced Senior Business Process Analyst looking to play a key part in enabling evidence-based decision-making across Australia's health and welfare sectors by supporting the design and delivery of high-quality digital and analytical solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders to document complex processes, define requirements, and contribute to the development of future-state systems and services that align with strategic goals. The role requires a strong foundation in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and data fluency, along with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.

Your duties will include:

  • Documenting complex and routine business processes using BPMN, flowcharts, and structured templates
  • Conducting current vs. future state process analysis and identifying integration points
  • Defining business requirements and supporting the design of future-state systems and services
  • Collaborating with policy, operational, and technical teams to align business goals and solutions
  • Interpreting data to inform decisions and visualising insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAS
  • Supporting business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and procurement activities

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to document complex and routine business processes - describe how you have captured and documented business processes using tools such as BPMN or flowcharts.
  • Demonstrated ability to define requirements and design future-state processes - Provide an example of how you identified gaps in current processes and translated business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, adaptability, and ability to take direction - describe how you've built working relationships and adapted to changing priorities.
