About the RoleWe are seeking a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to maintain the appearance of our site, attend to repairs and maintenance issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position requiring 38 hours of work per week, often working unsupervised.
Responsibilities- Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery by performing regular repairs and checks.
- Attend to general repairs in accommodation units.
- Ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness on the site at all times.
- Complete garden labor tasks such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing.
- Use and store materials, consumables, and gardening equipment safely and properly.
- Perform additional tasks like emptying rubbish bins and restoring gardens.
- Previous experience as a handyman or in a maintenance role.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
