The opportunity

Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) are seeking an X-Ray Assistanton a permanent full-time basis located at our Armadale HealthServices clinic. As an X-Ray Assistant, you will gain anunderstanding of and assist with diagnostic medical imagingprocedures in a customer focused manner. You will be provided withfull hands-on training for approximately 3 months. Reporting to theTechnical Supervisor your duties will include:

  • Maintaining a high level of care, safety andconfidentiality when dealing with patients/customers
  • Assist Radiographers and Radiologists with diagnosticimaging procedures such as CT/US injections andFNA's
  • Ensure Radiologist lists are running on time
  • Record and maintain correct documentation for eachpatient
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels
  • Ensure change rooms are clean and tidy

What do you need to be considered?

Ideally you will have a professional presentation andapproachable manner with a patient care focus mindset. You must beable to liaise effectively with people from diverse social andcultural backgrounds and work collaboratively in a team.

You will receive full on job training on our systems, andprocedures, while demonstrating a high level of attention to detailwith analysing confidential patient records, data entry andcross-checking information for accuracy. In addition to the above,you must have:

  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to provide a National Police Check dated within 6months or willing to obtain
  • Tertiary educated (degree or diploma) in the field ofScience or Nursing preferred
