Overview

A Day in the Life of a Support Worker with integratedliving

Real people. Real impact. A really great job. This role focuses on delivering domestic assistance and person-centled care to clients in rural, regional, and remote Australia. You'll be part of a team that supports clients to live independently and with dignity, with flexible hours to fit your availability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities for multiple clients (e.g., showering, dressing, mobility support).
  • Assist with household tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dishes, laundry, bed-making, and cooking.
  • Support clients with shopping, meal planning, and grocery budgeting; accompany them on shopping trips as needed.
  • Ensure client safety in the home and promote a clean, safe living environment.
  • Record visits and notes in the client management app accurately and promptly.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting plans to changes in clients' schedules and priorities.
What You'll Bring
  • A heart for helping and genuinely caring for others
  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • License, reliable car, comprehensive insurance
  • WWCC, First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Tech-savvy enough to handle a smartphone or tablet

Role Details

Casual Support Worker

Location: St Helens, Scamander and neighbouring suburbs

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible hours to suit availability)
