The Gig

What you'll be doing

Campaign Planning & Execution (The Fun Way)

You will be the mastermind behind Daniel's sweetest campaigns. From retail stores to supermarket shelves and wholesale partners, cook up and roll out fully integrated marketing campaigns that hit all the right notes.

  • Whisk up strategy & execution: Take campaigns from idea to reality, ensuring every sprinkle aligns with brand magic, customer cravings, and business goals.
  • Juggle partners like a pro: Manage agencies, creatives, media, PR, and digital teams to deliver assets that are on-time, on-budget, and on-point.
  • Keep an eye on the oven timer: Track performance, surface insights, and tweak campaigns for future effectiveness.

You will keep marketing projects running smoothly, drive project management discipline, forecast budgets, and report on campaign performance and key metrics to senior stakeholders.

This role will be 2IC to the Head of Marketing, helping set expectations, support skill-building, and boost team performance. You'll run regular team huddles to align priorities, timelines, and responsibilities, and foster a collaborative, high-energy marketing culture across the Daniel's family.

You'll partner with retail operations, wholesale sales, product development, and supply chain to ensure marketing activity is aligned, and collaborate with finance to manage budgets and ROI. You'll also build strong relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Continuous Improvement & Brand Growth

Keep marketing processes under review, introduce improvements to boost efficiency, creativity, and impact. Stay aware of consumer tastes, competitor moves, and industry trends, and help shape long-term brand strategy and annual marketing plans to keep Daniel's as the #1 donut choice for years to come.

You're a marketer who combines strategy, creativity, and drive—the right mix to keep our brand fresh and irresistible.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' marketing experience in retail or FMCG environments (customer-first and fast-moving).
  • Demonstrated expertise in campaign management and project delivery (from idea to launch).
  • Strong budget management with proven ROI outcomes.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and manage teams.
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Full Australian working rights.

The Icing on Top

Optional but welcome: experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, or retail loyalty programs; digital and social media campaign management; understanding of FMCG or QSR environments.
