SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity. Qualified candidates must be able to report on-site for three days / week (minimum). In this role, you will be responsible for both technical and functional support of field service applications.

Responsibilities for the Technical Business Analyst:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • At least five (5) years of experience serving in a BA capacity by:
  • Interfacing with end users on existing business processes
  • Identifying user information requirements and developing ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis and translating results into custom report specifications
  • Developing and documenting problem resolution with both internal and external technical resources
  • Understanding system problem analysis and resolution for both local and remote locations
  • SQL skills – comfortable around DB; ability to read and write (SQL queries, etc)

Requirement Qualifications:

  • Experience writing and executing structured test plans; interpreting functional and technical requirements for both real-time and batch application interfaces
  • Previous work experience within an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of:
  • Tactics and practices of business analysis
  • Principles of robust software testing approaches
  • SDLC – System life cycles and development
  • Information Technology best practices, standards, and terminology
  • Ability to:
  • Troubleshoot application issues using SQL query tools and MS Excel, to prove a hypothesis
  • Understand and follow technical design specifications
  • Communicate technical topics to all levels of technology users
  • Troubleshoot a technology stack – client and server
  • Devise procedures to solve moderately complex information systems problems

Preferred Skills:

  • Application Configuration experience (any experience as a SW Dev or Engineer – big plus)

Work Location: This position reports on-site multiple days / week (3X).
