Job Description

This role supports a central procurement team in delivering high risk and complex tactical procurement, capability uplift, and business improvement initiatives. The position also manages monthly data reconciliation, contract disclosure reporting, and compliance monitoring.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes and provide expert advice
  • Deliver contract disclosure reporting and monitor compliance
  • Support capability programs and manage communication forum
  • Drive process improvements and digital solutions
  • Ensure alignment with Queensland Government procurement frameworks

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in complex procurement and contract management
  • Familiarity and experience with Queensland public sector procurement (preferred)
  • Sound professional judgement and governance
  • Experience with Share Point, MS Forms, and Power BI (highly desirable)
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid visa with work rights.
