Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

• Build an advanced ecological technical practice supporting diverse projects and our clients' biggest challenges
• Manage technical teams to deliver field investigations, impact assessment and mitigation design
• Responsible for outstanding client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting
• Implement efficiencies and digital solutions to collaborate and work smarter
• Drive strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation in ecological assessments and management planning for projects in transport, water security, energy and future-fuels sectors.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

• Proven knowledge in fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, with a focus on Queensland regions like the Brigalow Belt, North Queensland, and SEQ Bioregions.
• Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing, sustainability-focused team across field and office-based work.
• Strong experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes and delivering strategic assessments.
• Proficiency in tools like GIS, remote sensing, and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and tackle client challenges.
• Over 10 years of ecological experience, a relevant degree, and a valid Class C driver's license (4WD experience preferred).
