Base pay range

A$114,088.00/yr - A$144,271.00/yr

  • Administrative Officer 6 - Remuneration Package Range $114,088 - $126,997 (including salary $96,620 - $107,721)
  • Administrative Officer 7 – Remuneration Package Range $134,227 - $144,271 (including salary $113,938 - $122,574)

Several ongoing vacancies are available. Selection will be made at the AO6 or AO7 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.

Responsibilities
  • Apply your financial and analytical skills to provide strategic advice to clients on the development of policy solutions and reform opportunities.
  • As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will provide high-level evidence-based advice on strategic priorities, support government agencies to analyse policy problems and emerging issues and keep the Treasurer and the Executive informed on matters with resourcing and budgeting implications.
  • Principal Policy Analyst's will undertake similar duties but at the more strategic level, shaping impactful policy directions and playing a leading role in divisional projects.
Qualifications
  • To be successful, a combination of highly developed communication and conceptual analytical skills, along with relevant experience in financial and policy analysis, is essential.
  • These skills are fundamental in navigating the complexities of the professional landscape.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, commerce, law, or public policy, along with membership of a recognised professional accounting body, would be highly valued.
