The AUSIEX product team collaborates with the business to drive product evolution, is accountable for monitoring and reviewing product performance and understanding the requirements of our internal and external stakeholders as we create and deliver on the product roadmap for AUSIEX.

What will you be doing

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for

This Role Will Have Accountability For

• Product outcomes that AUSIEX provides to it's customer segments (i.e. a seamless Equities and Derivatives trading experience for retail, advised, B2B and institutional markets).
• leading teams both directly and the broader engagement with UX, squads, vendors and operations functions that are involved in all product outcomes.
• Working with product owners, squads, vendors and operational teams to run and distribute our Products safely and efficiently and to report on performance to the business, leadership and risk committees.
• Identify and drive key opportunities for AUSIEX products.
• First line risk, legal and regulatory obligations as they relate to the AUSIEX Product including Market Integrity Rules.
• Run the product obligations, managing issues and risks, developing, executing, automating and testing key product controls.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key industry and regulatory partners and lead the consultation process with stakeholders to drive the product roadmap.
• Evaluating competitive, industry and regulatory landscapes to stay across change, innovations or threats for the product, technology or operating model of AUSIEX.
  
  

We'd love to hear from passionate people who have:

• 7-10 years of working in many disciplines including product management, financial analysis, portfolio management, product development, product legal and risk, business analysis, operational management, and some change or project management skills.
• Experienced in running financial technology products.
• Strong critical thinking. As a Senior member of the team you have to be able to think deeply, understand concepts quickly, be able to combine strategies and provide a coherent articulation of complex messages.

• Ability to pivot strategies in response to economic shifts, investor expectations, and technological advancements.
• Agile innovation: Ability to experiment, quick adaptation, and learning from failure ("fail fast" mindset).
• Owning decisions with accountability and fostering trust across teams.
• Leveraging automation, AI, and data analytics to streamline operations and enhance decision-making.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Leading across departments and aligning diverse teams toward common goals.
• Compliance expertise: Staying current with regulatory changes (e.g., DDO, RG 274, AML/CTF laws).
• Risk management: Identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Digital literacy: Understanding emerging technologies like blockchain, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
