Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  2. Work closely with kitchen staff to efficiently clean and organize the kitchen area, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  3. Operate commercial dishwashing machines, handle and store clean dishes properly, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall success and reputation of dnata Catering.

You Will
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow established rules for entry to building and work areas, proper attire, and comply with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene.
  • Load the dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers.
  • Ensure the dishwashing machine operates at proper temperature with necessary chemicals.
  • Unload cleaned items and store them appropriately.
  • Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks, and drawers, and deliver to storage areas.
  • Develop and follow a sanitation schedule to meet SOP frequency.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience leading employees to ensure compliance with safety, company, and regulatory procedures, including FDA and USDA requirements.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation procedures, and HACCP.
  • Ability to ensure SOP adherence and document activities per policy.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years' experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work.
  • Previous dishwashing experience.
  • Attention to detail, self-organization, and ability to handle a heavy workload.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical and Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds. Indoor environment with noise levels from minimal to loud.
