Our Team & Opportunity

Vanguard Australia is seeking a Client Services Associate to join our Personal Investor team, handling client requests and resolving their needs. This fast-paced, client-centered role involves delivering high-quality service to Vanguard's clients and super members, requiring previous experience in client service roles.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial contact point for clients, responding to inquiries about investments, funds, and accounts, and resolving complex issues.
  • Complete assigned tasks supporting daily team objectives.
  • Follow procedures to meet client needs, conducting research for complex requests.
  • Document client and team feedback for service improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Use a consultative approach to promote products and services.
  • Support team members, assist in training, and provide coverage as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of Vanguard products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Oversee third-party providers daily.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, superannuation, or fund management.
  • Experience in client services, especially in a contact center and phone-based roles.
  • Client-first mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service.
  • Strong analytical, research, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with external providers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • Possession of a regulatory license such as RG146 may be required.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
