About The Role
RPS is looking for expressions of interest for a future role within our Commercial & Infrastructure Delivery team.This role would part of our Construction Management Scope of Services to a leading Clean Energy client to support the delivery of one of their Wind Farm projects.You would form part of a team of Project Management and Site Management professionals and be acting on behalf of the Client in monitoring the performance of the construction and engineering delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support to the PM team with all cost, time, and risk aspects.
- Lead the implementation and execution of all Project Controls workstreams to provide a single source of truth for project performance including trends for risks, issues, costs, and schedule.
- Monitor, report, mitigate and track changes on the Project budget and financial model.
- Monthly estimate of accrued completion as a percentage of total work completed.
- Full financial reporting, including Balance sheet, Profit and loss, Cash flow, actual versus budget analysis.
- Create, control, and track an integrated Master Project program which captures the key interface milestones.
- Reviewing contractors' monthly programs and incorporating into Master Project program.
- Analysis of critical path and near-critical path activities as part of weekly updates to the Project Manager, including insights into impacts on contingency forecasts, risks and issues management.
- Deliver best practice risk identification, assessment, and mitigation tools to support project delivery
- Develop and monitor time and cost contingency allowances for the project.
- Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA)
- Support change control processes, assessing variations, scope changes, and their financial impacts.
- Provide input into risk management and mitigation planning from a cost perspective.
- 10 or more years of experience in cost control, scheduling, and risk management, preferably within the Wind Farm industry.
- Advanced proficiency in all standard industry systems and tools with Time, cost, and risk management systems
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Australian citizenship.
