You will act as a finance business partner to the Operation Manager and Project Managers. Responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project's performance. Assigned to multiple projects.
Responsibilities- Cover all financial, commercial and tax aspects such as revenue recognition methods, billing plan, payment securities, GST and other indirect taxes, consortium administration. Support project invoices and liquidation of outstanding amounts, manage currency risk, tax issues, bonds, guarantees, coordinate for financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting).
- Drive and optimize project cash flow, revenues and gross margin contribution with Project Managers. Prepare Financial MIS and circulate to upstream and downstream teams to inform financial performance and required actions.
- Establish project governance, participate in opportunity/risk identification and ensure timely mitigation actions. Co-ordinate and prepare monthly project reviews with the Project Manager. Review financials including estimate at completion and cost-to-complete, forecasting revenues and cash flow.
- Drive actions to achieve forecast, solve bottlenecks and assess risks and opportunities. Align with other functions including Project Controls and planning/scheduling; provide early warning and updates.
- Update project review templates/materials for reviews with stakeholders; maintain PROMIS reports monthly. Promote commercial awareness within the project team and provide input to the project execution plan (e.g., terms and conditions in supply management, claims, back-to-back conditions). Manage claims, back-charges, insurance cases and coordinate with Contract Manager/Project Manager upstream and downstream.
- Follow up on internal project audit reports and ensure timely actions. Ensure adherence to governance, integrity, internal control, and group directives; manage taxation matters pending against projects and close taxation documentation with the project manager.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- University degree or CPA in accounting/finance.
- More than 3 years of relevant project business controlling experience.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting.
- Leadership skills to manage different cultures and cross-functional leads.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively under own initiative.
