The Opportunity | Available across Sydney, Newcastle & Regional NSW & ACT
Joining Delivery Projects as a Project Manager means taking ownership of major infrastructure projects that directly enable Australia's clean energy transition. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, balance governance and delivery, and ensure that safety, collaboration, and excellence underpin every stage of the project lifecycle.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to move beyond task management into true project leadership - Influencing outcomes, managing stakeholders, and delivering programs that shape the future of energy.
A Day in the Life at Transgrid
As a Project Manager, you'll bring together people, systems, and processes to achieve project success. You'll be accountable for outcomes all whilst being supported by a collaborative team culture.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee governance, reporting, and assurance requirements.
- Manage risk, contracts, and external stakeholder engagement.
- Drive collaboration across internal functions and external contractors.
- Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
About You
You're an experienced project leader who thrives on complexity and challenge. You have a strong grasp of governance and commercial frameworks, coupled with the ability to engage and inspire others.
- Degree in Engineering or Project Management discipline.
- Strong contract management and commercial acumen.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with resilience and adaptability.
