Salary: A$100,000 - A$180,000 (range depends on experience)

Overview

What's the role? Are you ready to grow, pivot, or launch your career in cyber security? We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our fast-paced, diverse team. You will be supporting projects, change initiatives and anyone across the Bank seeking help from the Information Security Group. You'll be the first point of contact for coordinating security teams' support, whether it's for projects undertaking Secure by Design, third-party security assessments, or general queries.

What do I need?

Prior experience in IT or security is helpful but is not required—just bring your curiosity, a collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Effectively managing incoming requests, coordinating across teams, and building trust with internal stakeholders, which requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Security Expertise & Threat Awareness – Building up your knowledge and staying current with information security trends and threats is essential, as you will be advising on protection strategies and maintaining organisational security posture.
  • Analytical Thinking & Evaluation – Assessing requests, identifying appropriate services, and asking the right questions all benefit from an analytical mindset.
  • Project & Service Coordination – Working with delivery teams and service onboarding requires solid coordination skills.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Supporting the development of improvement ideas and service enhancements will benefit from your innovation and process improvement skills.
  • Relationship Building & Influence – Maintaining strong relationships across the organization to promote security awareness and alignment is a great opportunity to strengthen your influence and collaboration skills.
