We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Information Security Consultant to support Infoxchange's mission of Technology for Social Justice. This part-time (3 days per week), permanent role is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Security Consultant, preferably from the Not-for-Profit sector, to lead our information security program for customers and partners.

You Will
  • Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of security standards for our Managed Services offerings, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organization-wide.
  • Stay updated on security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn, innovate, and improve continuously.
About You

To succeed, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST, and RFFR.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
