An opportunity exists for an experienced and capable Project Coordinator to join a well-established commercial construction and fit-out company. This position plays a critical role in supporting project delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers and Site Managers in all aspects of project administration, procurement, and coordination. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a sound understanding of construction processes and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all project documentation, including contracts, scopes of work, and compliance materials
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely communication and delivery
  • Assist with procurement scheduling, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
  • Attend project meetings and prepare minutes and action items as required
  • Maintain registers for RFIs, variations, and site instructions
  • Support project teams with scheduling updates and reporting
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a project coordination or project administration role within the construction industry, preferably in fit out projects
  • Strong working knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with project management software
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, project administration or a related field (desirable)
